She answered every call, text, odd question, small concern, and never gave up even when we had little slip-ups on our road to brotherly comradery. Cats at traditional shelters unfortunately sometimes get overlooked for perceived behavior issues usually caused by stress. The Café is a comfortable environment where the cats can feel safe and relaxed. During your visit, the staff will answer any questions you have and give excellent general advice on cat ownership.

The best part of the adoption process is being able to bring a cat over to your house for a sleepover. This allows you to better see if a particular cat would adjust to your home without imposing any unneeded stress on the cat or your family. We brought both Kristos and Butter on a sleepover, and they ended up winning us over during the first night. My husband and I both highly recommend visiting El Gato if you are seriously considering adopting a cat. “
